What exactly is Paintless Dent Repair?
Paintless Dent Repair is a process for fixing a dent on a vehicle’s body without requiring any application of auto paint. Using a refined process, our technician uses specialized tools to move the displaced or warped metal back into its original polished and rounded state. As the tech works the metal back into place, the dent disappears — all without further damage or need to repaint.
Advantages of PDR
Our main goal with Paintless Dent Repair is to save you time and money! Without the need to repaint, filler or sanding, PDR is less labor intensive and less of a detailing overhaul which may cost much less than other types of body work.
PDR is a faster process and can even be completed and turned around same day. Since there’s no paint application there’s no need for color matching, sun baking and waiting for it dry!
PDR is not a cure-all solution for dented and scratched paints. This method can’t be used if the damage:
- Has sharp edges or separated/torn metal
- Has paint that’s literally scratched, or removed
- Around edges or a separation
- If another detailer has done previous work to it
